The Ashby's Store in Shelby Twp. has added to its unique products with Gourmet Toffee Kitchen "Toffee". This product is made using a formula developed many years ago in Chicago by the owners grandmother. They brought the product to market in the Detroit Metro Area in the fall of 2008. It is manufactured locally and sold in specialty stores. If you try it "You Will Buy It". It can be found in Grosse Pointe at the Ashby's Parlor on Mack Ave and other locations in the state.

The Parlor now has Alpine Chocolat Haus of Gaylord Michigan Products. Gourmet Caramel Corn, Peanut Brittle, Almond Brittle and Chocolate Covered Potato Chips.

Alinosi's Chocolates and Treats use no preservatives during manufacture. Something I did not know is that most candy is made with wax (parafin) which renders an after taste. They hand make their Spumoni and Italian Ices. Everything made is of the highest quality and will tickle your taste buds. Alinosi's is a made in Detroit product since 1921.
